Scratch should support both the CD & vinyl at the same time without having to use a Pre Amp.

in a club you would need a pre-amp for the phono, i think - and you would be using the line input or something like that

Set-up screen: line/phono on each virtual deck. It's there. It's been there.

There's only 1 phono/line selector in the setup menu. That is a global setting, not per player. It's not possible to have one side phono and one side line, that's a physical limitation of the SL1.

*Technically*, you can use 1 phono turntable and 1 CDJ at the same time, without a preamp. Just use select phono input in the setup menu. However, the CDJ will only work in Relative mode.

you dont need a pre-amp for turntables just use your phono input and that is it, your mixer should have it... for cd player just use your line.

i was thinking about the pre-amp when using both tts and cds - not sure anyways - i thought i read it somewhere around in the manuals or whatever - maybe i didn't...

Manaul says if using 1 CD & 1 TT, select line & use a pre-amp on side with TT
