Buy a TTM 57 SL today? Or wait until NAMM?

I've been using a 56 w/ SL-1 for a long time now. GC has a 15% off black friday sale and they have a brand new 57 on hold for me. Should I buy it? I want it bad but I am afraid Rane will release something new @ NAMM and if I were to buy the 57 today I would be pretty pissed off. Any suggestions?

You gotta decide if saving that $145 outweighs the possibility of a new mixer... plus if they do show a new mixer, is it going to be one you would rather use or not and is the price range gonna be in your range and when will it actually be ready for release and how soon could you get it?
How bad do you need a new mixer right now? Waiting is not going to guarantee a better option for you and the 57 is a great and proven mixer and will be exactly what it is regardless to what does or doesn't come out. You know what you are getting with 57. If it's what you need and you need it now and money is a big deciding factor.....
Only you can really fill in all those blanks for you but there are some things to consider.

Only way Id part with my 57 is if they launch a Empath SL. Id die for 3 fader sections so I can spin on 3 decks or run The Bridge threw its own channel with full EQ. Sixty Eight is just too big for me to cart around.

57 is amazing, I wouldnt wait because I doubt they are going to replace it anytime soon

I get 15% discounts from GC several times a year. If you're on their email list they send out offers a lot. My last 15% one was in September. If you wait until NAMM and don't see what you like, they should still have a sale not too long after.

I need a mixer ASAP but if nothing new is announced ......... I'll get a redline shortly after NAMM.

I'd wait til NAMM if you don't really need it (and it sounds like the 56 + sl will keep you going until then). Worst case scenario you spend a bit more, or maybe luck out and see a bit of a price drop after a new release (but don't count on that).

I'm predicting an empath + sl3 ;)
