Differences in RANE TTM57SL Mixer

Hi !

I would like to buy one of these incredible mixers but I have a doubt.

Are there different versions of the RANE TTM SL57 mixer?

I mean, we got serato box SL 1,2,3,4...but is there any correspondance with the serato installed inside the rane ttm 57sl mixer ?

And if they exist...How can I recognize those differences and buy the most updated ttm 57Sl ?

if it has red on it...it is the most current version

Ditto what Dj Ace said, but the versions aren't that different from each other. It's mainly fixes with the hardware and physical appearance; the primary specifications and functions are the same across all versions.

But that seems a little bit disappointing...why developing serato boxes with more powerful specs and leaving the TTM 57 untouched since 2006?

I've just upgraded from SL 1 to SL 3 and ... what the hell of a difference !

Right now you're telling me that in 2011 I'm gonna buy basically the same TTM as in 2006, with the same usb and same serato onboard ?

Uhm........should I wait some months to see if they're gonna release something fresh?

What are your thoughts about it ? Is it just me being paranoid ? :-)

the ttm 57 or should a new SL enable mixer 2 channel (maybe 3) makes since...hmmm?

Right on man, hoping for a new mixer or upgrade to the 57 at NAMM in January!
