are we ever gonna be able to to turn off the fader knob? where it doesnt do the filter thing when we turn it ? i mean it sucks anyways, we should have the right to turn it on thru the program in set up.

annnnd? are we gonna have full midi control to control Mix Emergency along side SSL?

i mean fucks sakes.. ur not even doing any thing with VSL? no update for over a year...so why not give us 68 users the right to have full midi control? to use with ME. seriously.. pretty annoying.

but we get dj intro. lol

What knob are you referring to?

As for ME and Midi... have you tried plugging into the second USB port on the mixer yet?

There is no way to disable the filter knobs.

Although the mixer was not designed to plug both USB outs into the same computer it does work.
You may experience a program crash when plugging it in if you do it one way vs. another but try it out.
Its not going to break anything.
If it works you'll be that much closer to a near perfect mixer:)

ya so i tried out the 2nd usb cable. and its works to my liking. thank you zach. however i do hope that serato does allow you to one day do this thru one usb cable. i do notice it slows down my computer when i hook the 2nd usb cable.. but thnx again

Henry, as far as I remember the 68 works fine with ME+Midi with one USB port only. What exactly does not work for you?

the faders work, but I think assigning any additional midi controls in ME requires double cabletration

i use the rane 68 with reason on 1 usb go to outs on reason interface do 4 out stereo so the rane 68 will use each combinator channel for each 4 faders.. then open up serato on the other usb (same computer) and use the serato efx on reason through the mixer! works great 8 core mac with 8 gigs
