I feel you on this, I been holding off for a year now thinking that a new model would drop soon, especially since the Serato and Ableton bridge is a Nasty program to use. I'm just keeping my fingers cross for this years NAMM or some type of clarification if I should get the 57 or wait.

i think the best thing is to do is wait because i have a feeling its around the corner.

i'm with yall on this one, still rockin the ttm56 and ssl1 been debating on coping the 57 or just wait for what rane has to offer next year...

i think rane have milk the cow dry on the 57 when they came out with the 68 it was good for club,s and for dj,s that wanted a four deck solution but allot of dj,s want that portable 2 channel upgraded version of the 57 and rane should make it happen so they don't loose business to the competition.

I am too waiting for an upgrade to the 57. Rane stopped my MP4 and Serato stopped the support as well. So I am too looking to buy something usb 2.0. Hopefully serato will drop something at NAMM. If not looking elsewhere.

I doubt it. I mean its been labeled as "Future Proof." Thats one of the reasons why I bought it. Maybe Rane will just have a bunch of updates for DL for the 57. If they do come out with a new model, ill be mad as fuck since I just recently purchased a 57.

Nothing is future proof, look at the the Rane MP4 and Serato's idea of dropping support for the mixers and Denon controllers. I hope they do improve the Rane 57 but i really doubt it . When i contacted Rane as to why they stoped making the MP4 i was told it was just old and at the end of its life. So probally the 57 is close to the end as well. Hopefully not, but who knows, we have to wait and see. One of the main reasons which Rane told me was that the SL1 and the MP4 were usb 1.0 versions and the newer processors dont work well with usb 1.0 equipment. So they wont support it on future verision s (2.3) So what's left from Rane thats 1.0? the 57. I can see them making a newer 57 with usb 2.0. I feel your anger due to myself going through the same Rane and Serato BS with Denon.

I think rane will make a new ttm but the 57 will still be getting support for sometime just because rane know consumers is still buying it until now but, i think just to stay competitive with other top companies they have to come out with a upgraded ten inch mixer soon with all of the new fan dangles such as usb 2.0 a better soundcard etc. but i still miss the control that the ttm57 gave me over ssl. come on rane give us what we are asking for .

Rane should step up to the plate with an upgraded mixer since alot of people complained about the 68, which in some eyes say is a flop. Lets see whats behind the curtain at the next show.

i certainly love my 57 its the portability really.
along with the control it gives me over ssl.
I cant take my ns7 everywhere but the 57
fits nicely in the overhead.

hopefully rane and serato will make us happy this namm.
