Perhaps this was suggested before (but wasn't in the stuck thread):

Add an option to either loop the next beats (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, etc.) or loop the previous (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, etc.) beats. As the loop easter egg currently stands, only the next beats are looped. Sometimes a DJ will want to turn on a loop right before a break or another set of instruments kick in and this will aid DJs who are accustomed to other looping systems.
