Serato 2.3 for Rane 68 2010 Macbook pro 15' Freezes!

So I plugged in 2 laptops into my Rane 68 mixer: Friend and I was doing a collaboration. After he took his laptop off my mixer. My Serato has been freezing my mp3 sound waves in the middle of my sets. I have a Macbook Pro 15' a 2010 model.

So my Serato has been freezing but still keeps playing mp3s perfectly. Every time i move the record back and forth as fast as i can, the sound waves on the Serato screen freezes for 5 seconds. The track is playing through the mixer just fine but visually it's bothersome. Is this a a mixer issue. My serato is up to date. Can it be my mac?

Not a mixer issue.

What are the specs on your machine?

Where is your music stored?

How much free space do you have left?

The same thing is going on with my 68 and i have a new mac book pro my music is store on a ex hard drive and its a 1TB..... 15.4-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 1440-by-900 resolution
4GB (2 x 2GB) of 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM
750GB Serial ATA @ 5400 rpm
8x double-layer SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
Intel HD Graphics 3000 and AMD Radeon HD 6750M
