I was building the overviews for a library of 15,000 songs on my Mac, neglecting to remember that it was my NTFS drive I had plugged-in (I have two identical drives, one is FAT32 the other NTFS). Unfortunately I haven't yet hacked my OSX to read/write to NTFs so the day-and-a-half I spent importing (using 1.7.2) was completely lost since none of the overview files were ever written to the drive.

There needs to be a verification routine in-place to verify whether or not SSL can actually write to the drive due to an incomparability or simply due to permission restrictions.

I'm sure I'm not the first guy to have done this. ;)
