my 68 works perfectly the problem that "some" complain about are the midi buttons...they "work" good but a little stiff for drumming. The effects and filter sound great IMO and the sound quality is superb. Best mixer I ever owned!

the number of people that posted about repairs is small compared to the number of mixer they have sold...(check the thread on new owners of the 68)

i felt the same way...until I made the leap... the only thing people mainly complained about were the filters on each channel and the midi buttons people loved mostly everything else especially the 2 usbs.. they fixed the filter problem but the buttons are still an issue for some...but honestly they work well, just not for drumming (well i am used to it) I use it to DJ clubs and private parties ALL the time and get so many compliments on the sound quality!

by the way I was never a fan of 4 channel mixer until I was able to use four decks! I use deck 1 & 2 for the the turntable one a two. I use the a 3rd deck and channel 3 to run the bridge, and channel four is for the sp-6...work so smooth. And my favorite feature is the fact you can use the scratchlive effects on the software post fader on the mixer using the usb insert. I am able to run a korg quad, SSL effects, and the mixer effects all at the same time! Love this mixer!

love the two mics, and the fact you can apply effects to it, and the two usbs make switching DJ's so easy...

I thought I should note... we didn't "fix" the filter.
The option for a resonated filter was always accessible through the Sixty Eight's preference panel.
I appears people just didn't know it existed:)
