Is the 57 supposed to show in System Prefs?

Is the 57 supposed to show in System Prefs?

I noticed after installing 2.3 a bunch of items came up for the SIXTY-EIGHT, SL 2, SL 3, and SL 4 under the "Other" section of the System Preferences on a Mac.

I haven't been able to find any information on what these are for or what they do, but it's interesting that the 57 isn't listed. Could I have more information on this, and also why the 57 isn't listed?

core audio settings. 57 doesn't support new core audio drivers so it doesn't show up in the system preferences.

Ahh I see. What's the advantage of having the core audio driver settings? I guess I'm not too sure on what a core audio driver is in the first place, some sort of way to direct audio through the hardware like an interface?

Let's you use the interface as a soundcard for other applications. for example, I could fire up my 68 and run 4 decks of traktor to each fader if I wanted to. Or, fire up ableton and route 4 channels to each of the faders.
