SP6 Midi Solution with APC40

Hi Team,

Heres a quick Solution for you MIDI Needs.

You can Play and Stop all sample slots but themselfs and also Stop and play all at once.

First Download this.

It is a program used to translate midi to key strokes

Then this. It is a Preset for MidiTranslator.

now open the preset file.

Keep miditranslator open in the back ground

Open itch.

Make sure you load tracks/samples into the slots.

and use the first clip launch button for slot 1.

then drop down a button for slot 2

then again for slot 3.

and so on how ever the 6th slot is controlled by the first clip stop button.

You can also Play and stop all my pressing the "stop all clips" buttom on your APC40.

It is best to have your sample clips in Sync mode. But you dont have to.

Hope this works.

Its all we can hope for untill Serato help out with midi for the sp6.

Ill Come back with a 2.0 version with some more maps.

Its easy tho give it a go.

Heres the a better Preset. It uses the top row of buttoms on the APC40 for the individual clips and the scene launch button to sto and start all.

so you guys purcahsed Bome's or yall just using the 20 min demo? i mean i dont wanna shell out 89 bucks if this midi issue is gonna be cleared up soon.

the demo just keeps on working champ. Havnt had any issues with it yet. keep it running in the back ground and it keeps on translating.

OK set it up mapped first 6 slots in bank A with my MPD 32 but it gives me the 2 minute warning and haults midi translation........ after 18 min

OK i figured it out, yup BOME just runs in the back ground as lond as you dont mess with it after its up and running

hey bro, i dnt know why its shutting down after 20 mins. I use the classic version. its free but only for pc. hmmmmmmm maybe find another free midi translator program.

Sup DJ's i was looking for a program to use with my newly purchased MPD32 for drops , clips & such .... since i later found out that ABELTON 8 & the BRIDGE doesn't support ITCH & the NS7FX is there any MIDI Maps for SSL or any softwear for NS7FX to use ABELTON 8 with my MPD32 hmmm... but any way i ran acrossed a vid on utube about KUEIT seemed it might work
for my drops but it's a cool 100$ bucks im fairly new to this digital DJing has anyone used this program & how did it work out ??? is it worth the hundee bucks for the program any suggestions for a newer digital DJer

yea and if and when they do offer midi map for the SP6 i think i will still use kueit
