EFX 500 with 57

smoothe 3:07 AM - 4 September, 2007
So.... I know I am getting a 57sl but I have one question.
When you use the echo on the Pioneer EFX 500 or any other effect that is post-fader would it be post-fader on the 57?
Meaning when i drop the fader would I be able to hear the echo going away?
Thanks!

All effects run through an external processor through the flexFX loop are post fader on the ttm57sl.

If you want to use the internal effects of the 57 while the EFX 500 is plugged in, the EFX 500 has to be turned on, otherwise nothing will work...

This isn't true. Internal effects work fine with an external effects unit plugged in and turned off as long as you're not routing your effects via the FlexFX.

That's of course true, but for me it was almost clear that everybody uses the effects via the FlexFX, because that is super easy and works perfect =)

Anyone know how to only echo the mid and highs?? I have been doing it by pushing the bass kill button along with the flexfx button, but you have to hold the bass button until it fades out. Any other way of doing it? Other then pluggin in the efx500 of course lol.

Did u set up that if u hit the kill buttons they stay on? u can set that in the "hardware setup panel"...so u hit them once and they stay...

Not me, I only ever use the effects through group 6. I'd still like access to them from other groups though.
