Any way to get sound out of headphones when pluging up an AUX in source?

Any way to get sound out of headphones when pluging up an AUX in source?

We have a "DJ" that plays are our lounge and he using VDJ, I hooked him up last week to the ttm57 from his laptop to aux in but couldnt figure out how to get any sound to the headphones. Anyway to do this? Or what is the best way for him to hook up to the rane 57 from his laptop. He usually uses mini phono to RCA's.

If he was simply running the 1/8" output of his laptop into the Aux in on the 57 he would need to plug his headphones into his computer and cue directly in VDJ.
He could hear the audio from his computer in headphones connected to the 57 as long as he was monitoring the main output but that wouldn't give him the ability to cue the left and right decks in VDJ.

we figured out a way to use VDJ with the rane mixer. It gave him control over the faders , headphone cuing and eq of the rane.
