yes, similar to iTunes. you know, iTunes allows us to drag a selection of tracks into any explorer window. one copy of all the selected tracks is placed there... this sometimes is very useful to move selection of tracks onto our laptops for small shows, as you said.
as a workaround, in SSL you can use the shorcut ctrl - r to reveal the place where you stored the track in your hd. then, copy it and paste wherever you want. of course, you have to do this process with every track you want to copy.
another workaround would be using iTunes only to create the playlists and use iTunes feature to drag and drop the tracks to put a copy of this tracks in another folder.
tracks group drag and dropping from SSL window would be awesome...

I agree, such a function would be _very_ ahndy. The CTRL-R trick is not a good idea here, I dont want to copy tracks from one crate one by one, that sounds awful.
