Not sure if someone asked these questions, I took a short look around and could not find the answers. Just wondering once Serato Video Scratch is released can you mix Videos with Audios and what will be displayed on the screen. Alot of good songs don't have videos, so when audio is played while Serato Video Scratch is on, can a splash screen or something like Microsoft's Media Player screen be displayed. Also the way we can record a live sound, will we be able to record live video from an outside video feed to remix on the fly like you can do audio? Someone hit be back with a link or answers if you have some info on this.

I was wondering the same thing it would be great if it have audio sync'd screensavers or something similar to windows media player, i bought some ambient screen savers just incase though.
i was looking at VirtualDJ's computer req. for video and they say the following...
The recommended configuration to mix video is:
Dual Core 2 GhZ CPU
dual output ATI or nVidia video card with 1Gb of on-board memory (no integrated laptop videocard)
2048 MB RAM
I dont think i have a dedicated video card, i might be screwed. I just bought an Hp 9500 with 2.2ghz dual core intel centrino with 2gigs of ram, but it has a mobile intel 965 Express Chip Set Family Display Adapter.... whatever that means. I think it should have like 300 mb of dedicated ram for video, but its integrated and i think thats going to screw me up.

I think the 965 is the same chip that they use in the macbook so you may be OK. I think Serato will be using the graphics card processing power for effects so chances are some of the effects will be unavailable.
I think your laptop will fall into that camp.

some computers may run the plug-in but not support complex video effects.I think your laptop will fall into that camp.
