It seems like I only hear my mix in one side of my headphones. is there any way to make them sound on both sides?

Other then a "mono plug"

clean your needle/tonearm contacts and check your connections, are you getting stereo signal from the main output?

Yes I have checked all of that.. And all seems okay.

make sure its pushed all the way into the jack

test your headphones on another source (laptop's built in headphone out, or a 2nd mixer) to rule out your cans being messed up.

make sure the pan knobs on both channels are set to 12 oclock.

Make sure the volume for the headohones is loud enough. On low volume settings the sound seem to be asymmetric.
