Since you can store the BPM with each MP3 file, i think it would be cool if besides a countdown which shows how much of a song is left in minutes & seconds, maybe also have an option that counts down how many musical bars are left in a song or until the next marker.
For example, maybe you like to mix in a 8 bar intro of a song into a 8bar chorus of the 1st song that is playing. lets say half way thru the verse you get distrated by something (drinks, girls or whatever :) ), you could have a marker at the beginning of a chorus, and with this feature. you could get your bearings straight so you wont miss the "mix entry" point. Of course some people will say "but you should know your music" - i agree, but sometimes i get a new song which is fresh and this would kinda help. Im assuming with dance DJ's this could also be useful considering the long segments in songs.

Nice idea, add a beat grid please.. It doesnt need to be 100% perfect (the BPM values isnt anyway) but it would be good for a rough number, helps with mixing.

This is why I'm still using Traktor instead of Serato for my professionnal DJ Sets. I'm also waiting for this option cause it's very very usefull !
