I would like to rewind somethings I played so I can have a recording and save if for later if I want. Would it best for you to run it live through another computer using Ableton if you can or is there like a Tivo program already thought of?

I just dont want to have to hit record every time and manage all the files by typing. I guess I just need a program to hit record and label the recording automatically with the mixes' songs so it will be like Tivo in which you only have to mess with it if you want.

I want to use my contour shuttle bus to record anything I play with just 1 click and then play it back with another click since theres no hands free operation. Also can someone point me in the right direction for converting digital from my analog real vinyl - univalent chemical radical CH2CH, derived from ethylene?
