I would like to add a third deck which you could set up loops on like the scratch studio edition.
To be able to beatmatch this this with the CV and then flip to internal mode and then mix ANOTHER record in would be really great.
I hear pitch in time will be integrated with SSL...Any clues if it will be done similar to this?
All in favour say aye!

has anybody tried running SSL alongside djdecks?
www.djdecks.be
djdecks is free to try and really cheap to register ($30), and doesnt require any additional hardware as long as your soundcard has 2in/2out. it also works with ssl or final scratch vinyl.
i haven't tried this myself, seeing as how i don't have 3 turntables. anyways, i've read great things about djdecks and this is a very cost effective alternative until a 3rd virtual deck is supported.

I have not attempted the 3 decks yet, just two, but it does support 3 decks.
But I have attempted to have both SSL and DJDecks running concurrently with a second set of TTs/Mixer on the same PC with less than stellar results.

djDecks can be used on its own with 3 decks simultaneously if you have a 3 stereo in/3 stereo out ASIO sound card.
In theory it should also be possible to use djDecks for 1 additional deck if you have an ASIO sound car with at least 1 stereo in and 1 stereo out.
I think your computer would need to be prety fast though to run both ssl and djDecks on the same computer.
Looping works with any vinyl type and in internal mode as well.
The only limitation for ssl users is that for absolute mode, still only cv01 is supported, though I hope to add cv02 support next month or so.

Adion, thanks for the info. Does djdecks compensate the pitch drift when using CV01?

It would nice to have eqs in SSL which can be saved with each song. So you can pre-eq songs which lack some freqency ranges.

i love this suggestion so much i am dry-humping it. would make be able to juggle a track much easier if all i have to adjust is the gain and not the gain/treble/mid/bass.

It doesn't really compensate, but it is just based on the code/time the way I recorded it, so there should be no drifting in djDecks.
You can have eq's on the third deck as well. Just select Menu->Show effects panel on the third deck.
And if there is enough request for it maybe someone can start a skin for djDecks designed for 3 decks usage.
