I was reading that instant doubles thread about retaining loop state, etc. and I got to thinking about a technique I often do...
Say you got a loop on deck a, and a track playing on deck b. You want to swap out the loop on deck a to change it up. It would be nice if it reverted back to the old pitch settings along with it so when you hit undo a second time, you could do a little flip-flip style of samples at different tempos and pitches.. (eg chorus=loop1 / bridge=loop2 / chorus=loop1 style).
With a little pre-planning, this could be a real low-tech style sampler, for example. Obviously this is only possible in internal mode but I think it would be useful. Opinions? Pitfalls? (Maybe only enable this if there's a loop currently enabled?)
