I'm thinking of getting this soundcard for my PC Laptop.
I've only seen a couple of related posts on this subject, but have been unable to locate a definitive opinion on this PCMCIA soundcard for recording. Anyone with some experience with this device have any comments??
thanks.dope.

Dopedragon, I've had this very card now for about a week and I've been very happy with it. It'll probably be the most portable option at this point, if that IS what you're looking for. Great latency, great sound (or lack thereof ie, noisefloor), and it is relatively inexpensive. Good luck!

thanks, haiku. im pretty set on getting it already, i just wanted to make sure nobody's got anything bad to say...at least not in conjunction with SSL. portability and low latency are the main features i like. its the inputs i'm not too sure about. i guess i maybe a little to fond of RCAs. ultimately im going to get a desktop DAW with some type of multiple I/O box or card for recording, so im sure this should tide me over until that glorious, budget-breaking day comes.
how are the cables that come with the card?? do you have any experience with other pieces of gear with which to compare it?
dope.
