Just wondering if this 1.8 will give us the extra 3d player...
If Traktor Can give us 4 Players, why not at least 3 for SSL.
I would be more than happy. We need it , most of us do, for our samples, SFX, and to have 3 songs loaded ready to go at any time.
please Serato team.

The problem lies in the SL1 design though, only 2 outputs, unless there was the ability to use 2 SL1 on the 1 laptop, and change the scratchlive program to handle 4 decks

maybe they could program the 3rd deck to use the laptops internal soundcard, or another user supplied soundcard. This might also be used as the "airplane" mode most users want. a usable deck to listen, set up loops and cues, without the sl1 box or 57 plugged in.

You could just use traktor instead ...

i like SSL's "look" better, less busy, nicer color scheme.
i don't use SL1. I use the MP4,
i'd like to use my emagic 2/6 soundcard as well, which has 6 outs (3 stereo)

I'll tell you why not.
Traktor is bloated and unstable. SSL Ain't.
And it would be lovely if it stayed that way.
:)

The could add the option to push the sound from the first 2 decks to one of the ouputs.
example:
deck 1 playing song 1 line 1
deck 2 playing song 2 line 2
push deck 2 playing song 2 to line 1
pop up deck 3 with sound going to line 2
example:
deck 1 playing song 1 line 1
deck 2 playing song 2 line 2
push deck 2 playing song 2 to line 1
pop up deck 3 with sound going to line 2

Fuck a third deck
Loop/sample player that syncs to a master tempo would be better
Better still i guess would be midi clock to sync ableton up to

This is what I like. it will avoid fixing SL1, wire it up etc, etc. then we can setup Cues and Loops prior to gigs plus people who lookin to buy SSL in future can prepare tracks add cues and loops.
