No reason for the serato/rane people to bring out new hardware then, make the SL1 in and another firewire card an out.

Korg Zero 8 + SL1 + one kickass laptop running ableton and the serato vst controlling tracks of ableton live

This is what I am absolutely itching for.
Imagine the possiblities of being able to launch and scratch any clip directly within Live... Ms PInky pluggo is very cool, but the integration into Live is limited (by the folks at Ableton)....
