it still doesn't save the button state when you startup the mixer...it there any way for example to have B3 and B6 on group 6 "on" when I start it up with 1/2 already selected so that I don't have to do that every time?

You can't save the effect as being on, (B6) but you should be able to save the rest.

it doesn't, i always have to reset everything i've tried saving a few times

cappinkirk, can you please start a thread in the help area? it should save everything but the on/off state of the effect.
