I agree. It's really a shame, that even one year after the release of the TTM57 we can't use the footswitch to control the EFX.

No, it's not just a shame - it sucks.

They have added it in the newest beta, but it is not assignable to any group but 6, and no control over aux sends, almost defeating the purpose of doing it. It works just enough to make me realize that I needed to post this thread.

Plus don't even get me started on the "mix tape dj's dream recording features" or whatever they called it....

One thing at a time I guess, but Rane is still so far above every other DJ company, and I do appreciate them. JUST FIX THIS FOR US PLEASE!!

Please please please, make the "EFX On" assignable to the foot switch in group 1. And since we only have a handful of effects, make the aux sends foot switch assignable as well, that way we can at least use external effects.

I think this needs to go farther than just EFX on for footswitch. We need to be able to assign any EFX control to any control on the mixer outside of group 6 (including the footswitch), so if I want to control my filter sweep from group 1 I can.

I just don't understand why this hasn't happened yet given that it is possible to assign all the software controls to the mixer and it's now possible to change headphone settings from within the software. That means surely all the parts are in place,
1. hardware control of the software
2. software control of the hardware
