Thanks.... Ordered.... Waiting 4 my Phanton Chrome....
40% discount = $79.99
I also have the HD25-II but my back-up is an Ultimate Ears, which sound great but they are in-ear. I prefer big headphones over my ears.
Buddy... I'll let you test them out when I receive them.

The V-Moda headphones are good. The only issue I have with them is the overcompensated bass. I tried them out for about 1/2 hour and the bass was way too much to use all night long.

BTW - I wasn't impressed with these headphones. My Sennheiser HD25-II sound much better. I ended up giving them to my 10-year old daughter cause she liked the styling. I think I might have to buy another Sennheiser as a back-up.

Lol, I see a lot of people for and against different cans.
Let's do this - Price aside or if they all cost exactly the same - which would you go with?
Please be specific "Brand & Model #"
......and the winner is......

I have just sent back a second pair of vmoda crossfade m100 for repair/replacement. I have the white and silver one.
I like the headphones but the screws at the foldcliq joint came off. Same happened with the first unit I had after around 6/7 months of owning it from brand new.
Fair enough the first time it happened and I contacted their superb customer service they asked me no questions and sent out a brand new unit on the condition that I sent them a video of me destroying the headphones which I did. They told me to cut the leads going to the ear Piece. It was a painful experience for me as I know a couple of bolts is all that's needed, but I'm guessing thats the company policy.
Fast forward to 7/8 months after I received the brand new replacement its having the same issue. This time around I was sent a prepaid label to send the cans back.
Just wondering if anyone out there has the same problem of the bolts coming loose.
I even asked them to send me the screws/bolt but they said they couldn't.
They are funny looking tiny bolts.

I've had the same pair of v-moda LP2 for DJing since 2012 with zero problems. They don't fold however, just go back in the provided hard case after use. Also have a pair of v-moda M80 for non dj use also since 2012. On both pairs the cords have been replaced but their just standard 1/8" cords so that is cheap and easy.
Sucks about the folding mechanism.
Just took as listen to a pair of Senhhiser HD25s and really liked them. Probably my next headphone.

It's just a lose bolt on mine. Everything else is fine with the headphone. Loud enough, Comfortable.

I have the exact same pair you have, M-100 Whites. I think that V-Moda founder Val Kolton had everything including the Cliq-Fold screws & hinges custom manufactured for the M-100's.
They've been my primary Studio & DJ Headphones for years. and even used them for gaming when I sold my Astro A40's. Never had an issue with them.
Temped to get the new V-Moda Crossfade 2 Wireless, but theseM-100's have been so good, I can't imagine setting them aside for anything else or buying anything else just to store while I use these. These have been the best most durable Headphones I've had in my 30 years of music and I've used and abused them all.
IMHO, Pioneer's SE-DJ5000 was their best & most durable headphone.
I do wonder what impact Roland's acquisition will have on V-Moda

Well I'm on my third VModa pair now. I will not consider myself to be rough with gear. I still have my HDJ 1000 I bought about 7 years ago, and still in working condition. Except for the leather bit thats flaking.
Top notch warranty service though.
