& also a option to disable the crossfader that controls the video during mixing on the 57.

Ehm... 1.8 is not even out yet. You don't know what video functions will be supported.

Isn't it a bit early to suggest features? ;)

Not sure if 1.8, or whatever next version is called, is going have video already, but yes, I'd love to see Midi control added to the whole interface too.

MIDI will be in 1.8... video will be an add on program that works with 1.8

wait.. forgot.. MIDI is already in 1.7 (just look at the numark cd player that uses midi to controll ssl) but from what they have said 1.8 will allow you to use other midi devices

Are you sure they are using MIDI to control and not direct communication with the device?

thats what they said in post b4 about it... and it says on the numark web site that it has midi for controll programs like SSL without the timecode cd
