so i got this idea when my girlfriend wanted my serato playlist in her ipod...the feature request is for the ability to export to ipod. I know its probably harder to make it talk with itunes so instead the option should try to do the following for macs and pc: when I make a playlist in serato there should a button to push so that it opens then all up in one folder so that I can just click and drag them into an ipod. So instead of just doing one song at a time from the apple button and the O key, it will open up the whole list. I know even that would be tough to do. but maybe you can have it open up all the folders individually...at least that would be a start.

I guess you never had problems with drunk requesters?
I would switch to CDJ if this came out

no, Im actually half to it right now.
BUT
I hate drunk people making requests.
And I hate drunk people trying to look in my laptop.
If it got around that Serato lets the DJ download whatever record he just played to your ipod, drunk people would be asking for all types of shit all the time.
ntm, it would be against the law

why would it be illegal? I actually think it may help djs export their playlist easier. Of course I understand teh flip side of people bugging you for music. But my idea was more on track with reqeust from friends.

First of all, I would never give my playlist to anybody. There's too many tracks and remixes that I have aquired over the years that not many people have.........I want to keep it that way.
Second, as AKIEM said, it's illegal to give away your music. It's not even legal for you to sell it unless you're selling something original and physical, like a CD or a record.
Third, being that it's illegal, and Rane/Serato do not condone file sharing or illegal music activities of any type, it will not be implemented ever.
