What music editing software can rip music from a MIXED CD that has multiple tracks and can convert it into 1 big MP3?

I use Easy CD-DA Extractor 9.1 There is an option for single file output at the bottom.

I love Sound Forge to death (as a basic two-channel editor, I think it's better than anything available for Mac OS X in fact), but I do *not* love its built-in MP3 functionality which seems to be a very old version of the Fraunhofer encoder. Compared to LAME at the same bitrates, I feel the quality of MP3 encodings done in Sound Forge is significantly inferior.
