Ortofon Serato bag vs Odyssey Serato Bag

Certified Quality Entertainment 4:14 PM - 17 April, 2007
Im picking up a bag today. Both are similar in price. Odyssey is 75 and the ortofon is 89. Anyone have expereince with either one. I think the Ortofon one is new, it looks really nice, sturdy and has a lot of padding. I need it for more than my SL setup. I gotta put in my Wireless mic gear, and some misc stuff. Just takin a poll on which one you think I should grab and if anyone has had good or bad experiences with each.

And yes I know there are a ton of topics on this. I did search for stuff but I didnt see anything on the Ortofon bag which is why I think its new. So im curious if anyone else seen it or uses it.

I saw the UDG bag at the place im going to buy it. Honestly, they can kiss my ass for $240..i know that you are putting almost priceless stuff in the bag but $240 is a big rediculous for a bag, even though it has great features.

Honestly, the Ortofon bag is really really close to that UDG bag. Same style, very durable material, great compartments for all your gear. I dont think that picture does it justice. I really couldnt find another picture of it because it is so new. Still undecided. I gotta make up my mind by the time I get out of work though.

$240 for the UDG Creator is expensive, but worth every penny IMO. They did not screw around or cut any corners when putting it together. It's truly in a class all of its own. Inside and out, the materials, fit, finish, design, etc. is top notch grade A+. This baby has it all and is the last one you'll ever need.

Have the ortofon digibag ... i think it's great. i use it for my laptop, 10 records, serato interface, 3 needle boxes, serato cables/wires, mic cables and shure mic, and a smaller compartment for some fries. The laptop compartment can also be removable if you wanted to carry more records, or if you wanted to carry your laptop separately. i bought it as an alternative to the headliner bag as well and happy with it.

^^ I agree its one of a kind but $240 is very expensive and I have a feeling the average DJ is going to agree. If I decide to get that Ortofon I will post pictures, I was actually pretty surpised by how well made and durable it seems. Compared fairly close to the UDG I think. Ill play around more when I go to the store and let you guys know what I pick.
