Dude, total respect to you for taking the high road. The fact is, you never know who you're talking to, and while this guy is probably no big player, bitching him out would have felt good but was probably destructive in the long run.

Besides, if he throws you a gig or two, then that alone is worth holding in your anger. I say props to you sir!
Dj KaGeN 11:55 PM - 16 April, 2007
You seriously wouldn't mind getting booked by this guy that RUDELY setup in front of a dj sG, and while doing that managed to crash his gear in to someone else's [[LAPTOP!!!]] all the while SAYING NOTHING, "like sorry" or "is everything all right?"..

That's someone you'd have as your front man? You're F'n crazy. Represent yourself as a professional, not some underling for that tit.
sG 11:58 PM - 16 April, 2007
Yeah, I don't think I'd ever want to work with him. Not only was his shht whack, but he was unprofessional about it. I shoulda took the KaGen approach.
DJryantheHUGE 12:04 AM - 17 April, 2007
Oh - I thought he meant that he would send you a gig he couldn't do - I have dj friends that do that for me all the time. I didn' think of it as working for him. But hey, I'm sure the world would have been a better place if you had slashed his tires :P

I just would have been honest with the guy, that what he was doing was lame, and if he wants respect he should offer it to others. Then you get it off your chest, and there's a chance that guy will think twice the next time he sets up near another DJ.

But taking revenge doesn't make you any better than him in my opinion.

This thread should be about how you came up on some new gear and just posted a cheap mixer and cd changers on e-bay.
