Listing by Key and BPM

Hello,

I was wondering if there was any way in Itch to list the songs by key and BPM at the same time? I can only do the list by BPM or KEY.
If there is any way to do this, your help would be great.

Do you mean sort by Key, and then by BPM order?

If so, then buy Mixed in Key, as it will write the Key and BPM to the comment tag... then you can sort by Key, then BPM.

So there is no way to do this in the program.. I have to purchase a seperate program? I have already key'ed the music.. WOW. Thanks for your reply though.

a separate program wont let you do both either

well theres a lot of mp3 programs out there that keep the previous selection as secondary sort order when changing it.
eg, first sort by bpm, then by key, and you get all tracks in A sorted by bpm, then all in B sorted by bpm etc etc...

a pity that itch doesnt do this, especially cause it would be really easy to implement.

love that line -- if you can code it send it to them

well of course i cant code in whatever itch is written, but since i know some REAL BASIC sql i can tell you that these features are the msot basic database procedures. its really not that hard.

also your answer is totally pointless & immature - "if you cant do it better then dont complain". i PAID for the product so whats wrong about taking part in the community developement by asking for a feature and stating that it would even be easy to do?
whatever...
nick.m 6:35 PM - 16 November, 2010
I suppose they will get around to it. They just implemented the key codes...

Exactly. I don't feel like busting out another hundred dollars for Mixed in key. If this is supposed to be the "all in one" product than I want ITCH to do this without the aid of another program. It would be nice for ITCH to detect the keys as well. They should buy the Mixed in key software and implement that into ITCH

call it what you want but i was being serious IF you look you will see that some people have made 2 very good crate organizing apps which I have used. And at what point did i say anything was WRONG with the feature request

yes and the only reason to choose an outside software is if it detects better

Possible work around to do this sorting by using the Browser tab?
Sort crate by Key, open browser and go through the BPM's.
