The idea is to create a text database of a session, so that you have the song information (id3 tag info), what BPM/pitch it was playing, start time, and end time. So, when I go back and listen to a recorded session I can match up track names (with the additional info) to what is being played, and will be able to replicate the mix. Otherwise, its the analog version... writing everything out.
