right, so hopefully 10.6.5 makes that all go away? I saw that in the revisions of this OS update there was attention being paid to USB devices, so maybe it runs better. I am fighting my upgrade OCD, Serato! Tell me so I can upgrade (or stay with 10.6.4)!

I'm upgrading, however I did not have issues in 10.6.4 + ITCH 1.7 so I can't report about improvements in the dropouts area.

Hi all,
We have not tested ITCH on OS X 10.6.5 yet. If you wish to upgrade, do so at your own risk.
That sounded more ominous than I intended it to ;)

Interestingly, on 10.6.5 and ITCH 1.7.1 I experienced my first two small audio glitches in over 2 years.
Very short ones, no dropouts but kinda slowing downs, nobody in the audience noticed them, however not flawless as usual.
The CPU meter was both times very low, at about 20%, wifi and bluetooth off (but I left time machine enabled). When they happened I was doing nothing special, just playing music.

That's one thing I JUST disabled today... Time Machine. I turned it to the off position and will see if this has any affect on performance and dropouts I'm still getting. I'm at 5ms latency and refuse to go any more than that.

I'm at 1 ms latency, 50fps screen refresh, usually my TM is switched off though.

Did anyone here have the wabbling waveforms and now with 10.6.5 they're gone?
