Multithreaded 'Build Overviews'

The 'Build Overviews' functionality of SSL could be dramatically improved if it were to spawn multiple threads to do this task. This would take advantage of all MPC systems, such as Intel Core Duo chips, or anything else with Hyper-threading.

We'd see a speed increase of approximately 33% doing this.

Yes, I would like to push this suggestion! I have Access onto a 4-CPU-PC (Speed Increase more than twice IMHO) and now I'm building overviews for 8 000 files (don't ask why ...) ... Multi threading would be great!!!!

Already in 1.7.3+. Dual Core = build 2 at a time, quad core = build 4 at a time.

It's really faster! Great!!!!!! I just startet about 7000 files ;-)
