So many different files, so many ripped cds...
Why not make your own mp3 encoder, that can re-encode and rip cds... that way you can control input into ssl... and if there is problems with mp3s you will be able to pinpoint the problems easier. This sets one algorithm for encoding music and sets a standard for mp3 files being used with serato, but it shouldnt only be able to encode, it should bpm, and build overviews, tag etc... it could be an external program to serato, which will allow it to be run without opening the whole software interface, and having to add songs to the library and etc.... sounds like a good idea... this can be used to prep playlists, and listen to songs and etc outside of serato software... and optimize system and file performance with the serato software.
