Serato gain scale different from Itunes gain scale?

Serato gain scale different from Itunes gain scale?

I applied SSLs auto gain to all my tracks, and they sound okey in SSL, but they have very different levels on Itunes? Why?

Auto gain only affects how the files are played in Serato - it doesn't actually change anything about the file itself.

I thought it did adjust the iTunes play volume...

Nope ... only the gain within SSL.

... the gain of SSL actually uses the same tag as iTunes does! Thats what www-dot-djstuart-dot-com-dot-ar is saying.

Stuart, you are right, they use different scales. Why? Don't know.
