yo... sorry i couldn't find this specifically on the search feature.

itunes.- import cd- @320 kbps- goes in as AAC file.
itunes- convert selection to mp3. says 320kbps, any loss of quality in the transfer from AAC to mp3?

lemme know if you know. otherwise i dont' know how to import AS MP3 instead of AS AAC!. thx.

I am pretty sure you do lose quality when converting from AAC to MP3. I did it anyway. I since changed my settings to import as MP3. Go into itunes>preferences>advanced>Importing. Should be in there...
