i bought a new maxtor hdd 320 gb and for a day it worked awsome n even used it for one single gig...i think it broke down or something...i returned it to curry digital(uk)....and i went to pcworld to chk out hdds there..and out there the technician advised me like in secretly tht they had like 40% returns on the maxtor hdds....and told me that maxtor is not the best for home use....its best for business stuff...and the new maxtors that comes for home use frequently returned because of its problem crashing....soo now i got the money back from currys and on a website i bought western digital 250 gb hard drive...for 5 pounds cheaper thn maxtor...hopefully tht one doesnt have any problem...but yeh every body is been telling me to opt for western digitial!
