Is there plans to expand the BPM category to include one decimal place, e.g. Jay-Z "30 Something" BPM = 91.6.
Would help DJ's with a large library of mp3's achieve a higher level of organization...not so much for mixing/beat matching.
Sorry if this has already been discussed...

Never mind...don't answer that...just read some of the threads...you know what's funny...how quick some dj's are to point out how this kind of feature makes someone less of a dj...I wonder if these are the same dj's that at one time argued against SSL and said that anyone not dj'ing on vinyl is not a real dj...embrace the changes in technology...why criticize each other based on how far some of us feel the changes should go...at the end of the day, the crowd your dj'ing for doesn't know what a fader is let alone a BPM...the standards don't change: selection and mixing ability play a bigger role than the medium used to play the music...the technology should go as far as possible to allow the dj to spend as much time as possible focused on those 2 aspects of what we do...one!

And by mixing ability, I mean "creativity"...just in case someone was about to run with that...

There are a couple of good reasons why more decimals can be helpful - just to name two: auto looping, better BPM tracking for the effects.

For me BPM only helps me to get a little idea of how fast a Track is...I've played on 1200, where if you had the same track playing on 98 BPM one track had like 101 BPM with the same Pitch position =) But yeah for effects and auto looping etc. it might be cool!

why not 2 decimal places. mixmeister tags it to 2 decimal points i think. why not just show it

nah.. too much clutter. There's already enough on the screen.. if anything make it optional..

I would like decimals to two places for beter acuaracy for dif functions too. But I dont see a real need for it to show up on the screen.
