Bad time code Vinyls

DJ Eddie P 9:15 PM 7 September 2010
So over the past year I have been having a major problem with the scratch live time codes almost every time i buy them now they are warped, only one side has a strong signal, or doesnt work at all. So rane has been great to exchange these bad time codes only problem is, is that many times even the exchanged ones have the same problem. I have many dj friends who have been having the same problem. i called Rane this morning to ask if they were aware of this growing trend and they said they have not noticed it so i'm starting this discussion to see how many of us are having this problem so that maybe Rane can do something to ensure we get quality time codes when we need them if you are having this problem please let it be known.

depends on who you buy your vinyls from. Some distributers dont care if your vinyl is warped cause of heat. Now when you buy from turntable lab my experience has been that I recieve a well packaged piece of vinyl that is hardly ever warped. Who are you buying from so I know to stay away. Guitar centers mostly have warped ass vinyl cause there are stored improperly
