considering you guys know how scratchlive uses its resources, which configuration would be better for future ssl versions? like for video and whatever else might be coming down the pipeline...

and please, whoever chimes in, don't turn this into a mac vs pc thing....as usual.

AMD Turion™ 64 Mobile ML37 2.0GHz 800MHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache
NVIDIA® Mobile SLi Chipset
1GB Dual Channel DDR SO-DIMM at 400MHz
256MB NVidia® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS

or

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7400 2.16GHz 4MB Cache 667MHz FSB

i'm sure either of these will run ssl rine for now...but for future versions is what i'm looking at....and i know i can always easily upgrade the ram so that's not much of an issue.

Skinnyguy; if you are looking towards the near future, wait a little longer and AMD will have the Opteron Quad Core Processor out sometime this year. Intel will have a fit trying to match that performance and price wise. AMD processors are great. Hopefully all of the music software will be Vista compliant by then.
