How do you record on the 57-SL?

How do you record on the 57-SL?

I'm trying to record my sets on the 57 but I cant figure out how to do this. Is it possible using just RCAs or do I need 1/4" cables to do this? I could do it on the 56 cause I think there was a 'recording out' on the mixer, but nothing of this sort on the 57.

Use the booth out or Aux out, or if u have neither, split the master out and run it line in with a RCA to 1/8 mini jack plug.

Why not use the internal recording feature ?? stop messing with wires.

On the left side of the screen, look for the red record button. Choose "Mix", type in a file name and record. when you're done, press the floppy looking icon to save it.

Thats what I did last time, but one of the users on here told me not to use that cause the quality comes out bad because that supposed to be for recording the mic.

the 57 can record left deck, right deck, mic AND MASTER OUT (mix)...!!

it'll be a huge AIFF file.. sounds damn good to me.
