I just booked a roundtrip from Detroit on Spirit for $20 so if anybody wants to drink for a few hours on a Wednesday, let me know. I get in around 9:30am and my flight out is at 4:30pm.
Spirit Airlines every once in a while has 1 cent one-way fares. Depending on the days available you can pull off some pretty sweet deals if you're willing to be a bit crazy. I've done an overnight trip (6pm & 11am flights) to Boston before to visit my sis. My friend and I went down to Orlando the same way and golfed at some amazing course down there.
Hey, how do you get the discount? I noticed they have the 1¢ Deal from Los Angeles to Puerto Rico. When I try to book it, it gives me the regular price. :(
that means all the deals for that flight are gone. they only have a limited number of seats at that price. sign up for their newsletter and you'll have a better chance next time around.
