Mixer Output Volume...

I was wondering if anyone was or noticed the different in your mixer volume from another mixer? I use to use a DJM-500 (i know its old but i like it) , but i have change and now using Numark DXM-09 and the output sounds lower then the 500. Have this ever happen to anyone here?

Yep..that happens with most mixers...Thats one of the features that you pay for...sound quality.

True and i am finding out the hard way, but is there any way of finding out how good the sound quality is on mixers ?

Yeah... go to Guitar Center and test them out beforehand. ;)

I have used Numark, Rane, Tascam, Techinics, Vestax mixers. I personally like the sound out of the Technics and Vestax and Rane obviously...that kinda goes without saying. The Tascam is a bit louder than the Vestax but not as clean...Numark is actually the lowest out of all of them. Just my personal observation.

But you can hear the differences in sound quality, output volumes and overall features.
