Up to this point i've stuck to clubs, fashion shows etc. i've been asked to do a wedding or ten but have always passed. these are pretty interesting people who i've dj'd for in the past, cool friends, good taste in music etc... can anyone offer up a range? won't be doing any mc'ing. it's in hollywood if that helps. thanks all.

Especially in Cali....nonetheless hollywood. I don't know what you got in lighting and mobile sound, but you should be able to pull $1,000. I wouldn't do it for much less if I were you.

you'll need speakers, lights and tacky songs. theres no way you're not going to mc in a wedding. ill go as far as to say, you'll be mcing a lot. dont charge less than 750

here in so cal, i dont know a single wedding dj who does a wedding for less than $1000. most charge much more. you should be able to get at least $1000.

Agreed! Weddings are a lot of work, especially if you are not familiar with them. Not so much the music (which im sure you will be fine with), but the formalities of the night.

my immediate reaction, and i know this is a super broad range, was between 1500 + 3000 depending on the number of speakers needed. if it were to get up to 3k it would be due to a need i don't expect which would be mutliple subs. i won't be doing lights. you guys are pretty kick ass, thanks for the feedback and keep it coming.
