Serato Software Feature Suggestions

What features would you like to see in Serato software?

ability to review last night's set

supayoot 7:03 PM - 5 March, 2007
sorry if this has been mentioned - i did scan the topics.

it would be great if you could see the last tracklist after the computer has been shut down. maybe a temporary crate could be created saving the latest set on shutdown.

i know i'd like to look over things in the comfort of my own home :)

Yes. This would help a ton. Especially when practicing. Sometimes I don't want to review right after I'm done mixing. So maybe something like not having review clear automatically. Make clearing the review be manual.

i second this!!!!!

if im mistaken, i do believe you play your set, then click on review and it shows what you played, now to save that set, just make a new crate and save those songs into that crate
CMega 12:43 AM - 7 March, 2007
I just want review to be cleared manually. That would be the easiest for everybody.

yeah this would be nice to have. its not easy to remember to review and save it as a crate when after a gig you just wanna go home lol
DJ Vic Roselli 4:22 PM - 7 March, 2007

I'm not sure if this is what you're lookin for but Scratch Live keeps log files of every track you've ever played. Check your Scratch Live folder in "My Music" folder. I'm not on my laptop right now so I don't know the exact path but it's in there somewhere. I can review sets i've played from months ago.

If somebody can provide the file path for a mac so I can find old playlists, that would be really helpful. I've done some sets that people want tracklists for...
