I own both cdjs & technics & sometimes I use both @ home. Just wondering if there would be an upgrade to have the "phono/line" options on 2 channels instead of the 1 currently?

Thats a physical limitation of the SL1 box.

Buy a (inverse) RIAA converter, that should do the trick.
