I saw this on another forum and I thought I would mention it here. Basically we take an acapella and anyone who wants to participate does there personal remix to it and then posts the remix. Then we can all vote on our favorite remix and we have a winner, only they don't really win anything but some respect I guess. I thought this might be useful in learning different styles and ways to remix shit.

The only issue is we need to figure out a way to make it legal to post that acapella so everyone can use it.

just a thought....anyone down?

Just pick an accessible acapella which can be found on itunes or any other online provider.

Why can't Rane post acapella on their white label site? Then we could have access. That is if Rane is down to participate

I am at school right now but soon as I get home tonight I will figure something out. Maybe I'll post the acapella from the other forum cuz it was a tight song and the group is unsigned and putting their music out for free right now anyway.

aight here's mine.....this is pretty basic but I'm new to remixing. I would appreciate any feedback. Also this is just done with Serato and audacity.
