Making a crate match a directory

I want my crates to mirror my directories. When I add a track to a directory, I want it to appear (or add it ) to the crate. What is the best way to do this short of remembering the new tracks and manually adding them to each crate.

If I just try to drag the entire directory again, I get lots of duplicates. Any way to eliminate the duplicates?
